• 250g flour
  • 175g sugar
  • 2Tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1Tsp baking powder
  • 25g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g almond slivers
  • 100g chocolate drops
  • salt

Mix the flour, the salt, the sugar, the vanilla sugar, the baking powder, the eggs and the butter and knead them into a dough. Add the almonds and the chocolate and knead them into the dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Divide the dough into 5 portions and roll each of them into a roll. Set them onto a lined baking tray and slightly press them flat. Bake them for 10-12 minutes.

Cut the rolls into thick slices diagonally. Set the slices back onto the baking tray and bake them again for up to 10 minutes. Let them cool down before enjoying with a cup of coffee.
